Intruder Alarm Systems provided by SSC Fire & Security meet all the current industry, insurance and Police legislation on design, installation and monitoring capability.
Systems are designed taking into account your business needs and category grade required. All SSC Systems meet EN50131, PD6662 grade 1, 2 or 3 and have the ability to be monitored under the ACPO Policy DD243.
All commercial systems installed by SSC and connected to an ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre) will be programmed as sequential confirmation, this will ensure your system meets current ACPO standards for confirmed alarms.

Our monitored commercial systems also incorporate 'Fob' setting and dis-arming, also there to reduce the risk of false alarm and improve your management of the system.

PIR (Passive Infra Red) detectors are the most common type of detector used in today's intruder alarm systems. They detect movement of invisible Infra Red body heat within their range. Such systems are proven to be very reliable and effective.

Where environments change within a building and where it could affect a standard PIR device, SSC install Dual Technology Detectors. These detectors use both Infra Red detection and Microwave technology to reduce the risk of false alarm and give added range and protection where needed in your property.

Contacts are normally fitted to the external doors on your property. From the main entrance door, fire doors and roller shutters these devises will protect and monitor the perimeter of your building. Not only activating the system when armed but also giving you a warning when a door is left open and you try to set your system.

All SSC Fire & Security sounders come complete with internal visible LED flashing indicators. These LED lights show that your alarm system is live and in full working order. Should your alarm system activate, all our sounders are fitted with a sound cut off timer in accordance with the law. Our sounders also come complete with a Strobe light that activates when the high pitched, twin Piezo sounder is in operation.

All our installed Intruder Alarm systems have the ability to be securely monitored remotely.
From an ability to call your mobile phone direct when activated, to being connected to the approved SSC ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre), your alarm system is ready to respond to any activation.
The approved ARC is where your system can be monitored and signals acted upon following DD243 legislation for confirmed alarm systems and any individual requirements. The SSC approved ARC is accredited to BS 5979 and the NSI.
Open and close signals can have an added benefit to any security system, logging each time and date when you alarm is set, un set and activated, backed up by the onsite system log, this gives you total management of your security.
Our systems use the required level of signalling depending on the grading, Grade 1, Grade 2 and Grade 3 approved forms of alarm transmission.
When using a protected signalling option such as British Telecom Redcare or a GSM backed up device you will always have peace of mind that your system will communicate when needed.
All keyholder details are kept so when required we can contact you should your alarm need attention, 24 hours a day.
